Senior Partner
Steven Picciano is a Senior Partner at Partners in Mission, where he helps Catholic leaders advance the institutions shaping the future of the Church.
Over the past decade, Steven has helped Catholic institutions secure more than $500 million in philanthropic support. His experience spans parishes, dioceses, schools, universities, religious orders, healthcare ministries, and other Catholic apostolates.
Steven blends the art and science of advancement, using data and analysis to guide strategy while bringing the judgment, empathy, and relational awareness needed to engage donors personally and inspire greater generosity. His expertise includes case development, principal and major gifts strategy, campaign planning and feasibility studies, capital campaign strategy and management, Catholic stewardship, strategic planning, development assessments, and organizational leadership development.
Steven’s client experience includes the Dominican Friars Province of St. Joseph, Sisters of Life, Archdiocese of New York, Diocese of Bridgeport, Seton Hall University, The University of Scranton, Fordham University School of Law, and Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child, as well as many parishes and other Catholic apostolates across the United States.
Steven serves on the Board of Directors of the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and on the Advisory Board of the Neonatal Comfort Care Program at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He and his wife, Juliette, live in Nutley, New Jersey, with their four children.
