Purcell Marian High School is pleased to announce the appointment of Jason Ahlers as its next Principal. A dedicated Catholic educator and experienced instructional leader, Mr. Ahlers brings more than 30 years of experience in Catholic education and a deep commitment to academic excellence, student formation, and mission-driven leadership.
Throughout his career, Mr. Ahlers has demonstrated a collaborative and servant-oriented leadership style. He has led initiatives to strengthen school culture, expand student programming, and enhance student support systems, including partnerships focused on student wellness and mental health. His work reflects a consistent commitment to forming the whole person—intellectually, spiritually, and socially—within a Catholic educational environment.

Mr. Ahlers began his career in the classroom, teaching English at Moeller High School, then returned to his alma mater, Elder High School, before joining St. Xavier High School. His experience as both an educator and administrator has equipped him with a strong understanding of curriculum development, student engagement, and faculty leadership. He holds a Master of Secondary Education from the University of Cincinnati, achieved National Board Certification for English teaching, and has completed graduate coursework in administration at Xavier University.

Ms. Natalia Mistichelli '90 has been appointed the next President of The Catholic High School of Baltimore. Her selection marks a significant milestone in the school’s storied history of empowering young women.
Ms. Mistichelli comes to Catholic High with over 20 years of experience in nonprofit development, with her previous roles as Director of Strategic Partnerships, Director of Stewardship & Events, and Major Gifts Officer at Catholic Charities of Baltimore. Al Chromy has been appointed Principal of St. Peter Catholic School. Mr. Chromy brings with him a wealth of leadership experience rooted in both faithful service and a deep commitment to Catholic education. After serving 25 years in the United States Air Force—where he specialized in educational environments and held roles in Space and Missile Operations, the Air Force Academy, West Point, and Air Force ROTC—he discerned a call to continue serving through Catholic schools.
Following his military career, Mr. Chromy served as Director of Admissions at Corpus Christi Catholic School in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and most recently as Principal of Sacred Heart Catholic School in Warner Robins, Georgia, where he faithfully led for the past ten years.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Minnesota, a Master of Arts in Education from Lesley University, and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from the University of Notre Dame.
St. Peter Catholic School is seeking a dynamic, faith-filled Principal to lead its vibrant, Christ-centered community beginning July 2026, with potential for an earlier start. Rooted in the Catholic tradition and the mission of the Diocese of Orlando, St. Peter forms disciples through rigorous academics, daily lived faith, and a warm community of students, families, faculty, staff, and parish.

Sharon Lencheski has been appointed Head of School for Rosarian Academy. Sharon brings a blend of business, law and education experience to the West Palm Beach private Catholic school founded in 1925. Sharon Lencheski, a former in-house counsel and sports marketing executive, joined the school in 2022 and will officially assume its top leadership role in July. As an experienced educator, Lencheski has a passion for and experience in sports, finance, business, and education.
Prior to her service at Rosarian as Middle School Director, Lencheski served as Business Department Chair and Director of Theatre at Notre Dame High School in Easton, Pennsylvania. A graduate of the Univeristy of Scranton and Widener University Delaware Law School, Lencheski has had extensive experience in the world of professional sports as the co-founder of SKI & Company, the global agency of record for General Motors Racing across brands such as Coca-Cola, NASCAR, Indycar, etc.
Rosarian Academy, founded in 1925 by the Adrian Dominican Sisters, is the only independent Catholic school in Palm Beach County. Located in West Palm Beach, Florida, the school serves students from the Montessori program (ages 1-4) through the Middle School (Grades 5-8). For nearly a century, Rosarian has been dedicated to educating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—guided by Gospel values. The Head of School will be entrusted with upholding this legacy while leading the school into its next century of excellence.

Erin Prada, currently the director of strategic initiatives and global education at Ursuline Academy, has been named the principal of Ursuline’s Upper School beginning on Aug. 1. She succeeds Jennifer Anthony, who is in her second year at the all-girls Wilmington school.
Prada is a Fulbright Scholar who conducted educational research with Jesuit organizations and completed projects with the U.S. Embassy in Peru, according to school president Trisha Medeiros. She holds a master of science degree in comparative and international education from the University of Oxford, and she also graduated from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia with degrees in Spanish and education.
Ursuline Academy of Wilmington, Delaware, is seeking a dedicated, faith-filled, and visionary Upper School Principal to begin service in the summer of 2026. Founded in 1893, Ursuline Academy is an independent, Catholic, college preparatory school rooted in the Ursuline tradition of St. Angela Merici, serving students from age 2.5 in early childhood through grade 12. Dr. Dentino most recently served as Vice President of Student Life at Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he played a key role in strengthening student engagement, campus life, and student well-being. Over the course of his career, he has developed and implemented innovative strategies that promote academic success, faith formation, student engagement, and athletics.
A graduate of Franciscan University, Dr. Dentino also holds a master’s degree from Providence College and a Ph.D. from Duquesne University. His academic background and professional experience reflect a deep commitment to excellence in Catholic education and the holistic development of students.
“My passion is helping students become the best version of themselves,” Dentino said. “Education is not just about what you will do in the future; it’s about who you will become. I am profoundly grateful to return home to the Diocese of Peoria, where my own transformative education began, and to help our students embark on their own journeys of personal, spiritual, and academic growth.”
Dr. Dentino joins Schlarman Academy alongside his wife, Mary, and their five children, who range in age from 2 to 13. The Dentino family looks forward to becoming active members of the Schlarman community and the greater Danville area.

Charlotte Catholic High School has named Michael Seeley, a long-time education leader and administrator, as its new president.
Seeley’s appointment comes after a national search conducted by a committee of educators, parents and other stakeholders in the Charlotte Catholic community.
“I am honored and excited to accept the call to serve as president of Charlotte Catholic High School,” Seeley said in an announcement to the Charlotte Catholic community.
“Throughout the interview process, it became clear that the CCHS community expects excellence across all aspects of student formation: academics, athletics, service and above all faith. I look forward to working alongside dedicated and passionate students, teachers, staff and families as we fulfill our shared mission to graduate not only scholars and athletes but disciples of Christ.”
Seeley has more than two decades of senior leadership experience in both Catholic and independent school settings, including the University of Notre Dame, Phillips Exeter Academy and Culver Academies. He has done extensive work in institutional advancement, admissions and enrollment management, and also worked closely with boards, donors and diocesan leaders.

Mr. Chambers brings over two decades of experience in Jesuit education and leadership, rooted in a love for Ignatian spirituality, excellence in teaching and learning, and care for the whole person.
Mr. Chambers currently serves as the Associate Provincial Assistant for Pre-Secondary and Secondary Education for the Jesuits West Province. He has led sponsorship and endorsement review visits across Jesuit schools in the province, guided comprehensive formation programs for boards, faculty and staff, and worked closely with principals, presidents, and provincial leadership to strengthen Jesuit identity and mission. He has also collaborated at the national level through his work with the Jesuit Schools Network, including service on committees that updated the Standards and Benchmarks for all Jesuit schools.
Mr. Chambers previously served as Principal of St. Andrew Nativity School in Portland, providing academic and spiritual leadership to the school community. His background includes experience in the classroom, athletics, administration, strategic and financial planning and fundraising. As principal, he increased enrollment and fundraising outcomes while advancing school-wide operations, resulting in marked academic and formational growth for students.
Mr. Chambers holds a bachelor’s degree in history and journalism from Gonzaga University, a master’s degree in teaching, and both initial and professional administrator licenses from the University of Portland. He currently serves on numerous boards, including Cristo Rey Jesuit Seattle and SEEL Puget Sound.

Catholic Memorial High School (CMH) is proud to announce that Mr. Mike Roemer has been selected as its next principal. Roemer, current principal at Ronald W. Reagan College Preparatory High School in Milwaukee, WI will begin his role at CMH on July 1, 2026, succeeding Mrs. Bonnie Scholz who will retire at the end of the 2025-2026 school year.
Roemer has spent the entirety of his professional career in education, as a teacher and administrator. Most recently he has served as the principal of Ronald W. Reagan College Preparatory High School since 2011. In this role, Roemer has overseen continuous growth since the school’s inception, increasing from 127 students and six teachers to nearly 1,400 students and 142 total staff members. During his current tenure he has produced impressive academic outcomes including development of three International Baccalaureate (IB) programs (Diploma, Middle Years, Career-related), earning a top-10 statewide school ranking, and increasing the school’s average ACT composite scores by six points.
“I am truly blessed to have this opportunity to lead Catholic Memorial High School as its next principal,” Roemer said. “CMH’s commitment to helping students discover their God-given potential mirrors the values I learned at St. Lawrence Seminary and have carried throughout my career. I believe deeply in forming young people who are academically prepared, spiritually grounded, and ready to serve the Church and the world.”
Roemer’s education includes a M.S. in Educational Leadership and a M.S. in Special Education from Cardinal Stritch University, along with a B.A. in History/Broad Field Social Studies from St. Norbert College.

Robyn Summa '93 has been appointed principal of The Ursuline School, following a national search and a year of steady leadership as interim principal.
A proud member of the Class of 1993, Ms. Summa has devoted more than 20 years of her professional career to Ursuline, serving as a teacher, science department chair, and assistant principal of curriculum and instruction. Over that time, she has come to embody the school's mission and Core Values through daily practice, leadership, and service alongside students and colleagues.
"Robyn leads with deep purpose and a strong sense of responsibility to this community," said Dr. Colleen Melnyk, president of The Ursuline School. "Her leadership reflects our mission and Core Values in the way she engages students, collaborates with faculty and staff, and approaches her work with care and integrity."
During her tenure as interim principal, Ms. Summa led the school with steadiness and care while also embracing forward-thinking approaches to education. Known for her humor, intellect, and approachability, she has long been a favorite of students, faculty, and staff alike.

Fr. Jack Tierney, OSA, PhD, will become the 14th Headmaster of Cascia Hall Preparatory School on July 1, 2026, it was announced last week by the school.
"We are excited to welcome him to the Cascia community. We are confident that Fr. Jack's leadership will help us build faithfully upon the Augustinian mission and tradition," stated the announcment posted on the school's social media. "We ask for your prayers and support as Fr. Jack and Fr. Philip (Cook) prepare for this moment of transition in their lives and in the life of the community. We give thanks for Fr. Jack's appointment and offer him our wholehearted support. May God bless him and our Cascia Hall community."
Father Tierney will succeed Father Philip Cook, OSA, Ph.D., who has served as headmaster at the private Augustinian high school since July 1, 2018. Father Cook has been associated with Cascia Hall off and on since 1993.
Father Tierney attended the University of Minnesota where he studied political science. He then studied at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago and pursued a master’s in public policy and administration at Northwestern University. He earned a Ph.D. in public policy at St. Louis University. He was ordained a priest on July 25, 2020.
