About Fontbonne, The Early College of Boston

Fontbonne, The Early College of Boston is seeking a dedicated, faith-filled, and visionary Principal to begin in the summer of 2026. Founded in 1954 by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston, Fontbonne is an independent, Catholic, college preparatory high school and early college for young women in grades 7–12, located in Milton, Massachusetts. Fontbonne is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and is a sponsored ministry of the the Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston, serving students through a mission of unity, service, and the pursuit of excellence.

Fontbonne distinguishes itself as an innovative Early College model, enabling students to earn up to 15 - 24  college credits while completing their high school education. Rooted in Catholic tradition and inspired by the charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph, Fontbonne nurtures young women of faith, courage, and integrity who are prepared to meet the world’s needs through compassion, leadership, and purpose.

Guided by its mission, Fontbonne educates and empowers students to grow intellectually, spiritually, and socially — preparing them to lead with wisdom and to serve with grace.

About the Role

The Principal reports to the President and oversees the academic program, faculty, and student experience. The Principal will foster Fontbonne’s Catholic identity and mission in the spirit of the Sisters of St. Joseph, while advancing academic excellence, innovative learning, and inclusive community life. This leader will play a vital role in shaping the future of Catholic, all-girls, early college education in the Greater Boston region.
