Pinecrest Academy is seeking a dynamic, faith-filled PreK-8th Grade Principal to lead its vibrant, Christ-centered community beginning July 2026. Pinecrest Academy is a premier Catholic school situated on a beautiful, 68 acre collegiate-style campus in the Northeast Atlanta Metro area. The mission of Pinecrest is to “form Christian leaders to transform society” and this mission is delivered through Integral Formation, a four-pillared approach to educating the whole child: Intellectual (mind), Spiritual (Christ-centered), Apostolic (service) and Human (leadership cultivation and virtues). The Opportunity
The next PreK-8th Grade Principal will serve as the division’s instructional and spiritual leader, advancing Catholic identity, nurturing a culture of joyful formation, and championing academic excellence. In close collaboration with school leadership, faculty, staff, and families, the Principal will guide the spiritual, intellectual, and moral development of Pinecrest’s youngest students while stewarding resources and supporting the school’s continued growth.
Key areas of impact include:
Catholic Identity: Model joyful Christian witness; integrate faith and virtue formation throughout the PreK-8th grade experience; support sacramental life and spiritual formation of students and faculty
Educational Leadership: Lead a strong liberal arts and values-based curriculum; champion data-informed instruction and research-based practices; ensure developmentally appropriate and innovative teaching and learning.
Faculty Growth & Supervision: Recruit, mentor, and evaluate mission-aligned educators; support ongoing professional and spiritual formation; foster a collaborative faculty culture.
Operational Leadership: Oversee daily PreK-8th grade operations; ensure safe, effective systems and procedures; partner in long-range planning aligned with Pinecrest’s mission and strategic priorities.
Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with families; foster transparent and consistent communication; serve as a visible ambassador of Pinecrest’s mission and culture.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic and mission-driven leader who joyfully models the faith and supports Pinecrest’s commitment to Integral Formation. With demonstrated experience in education leadership, curriculum, instruction, and assessment, the next Principal will inspire academic excellence while nurturing the developmental needs of young learners. This individual will be a strong communicator and collaborative leader who builds trust with faculty, parents, and students. A thoughtful steward of people and resources, the PreK3-8th Grade Principal will foster a safe, joyful, and well-ordered learning environment rooted in Gospel values and Pinecrest’s mission.
