Steven Virgadamo

Steven Virgadamo served as a Catholic school teacher, administrator, as an Associate Superintendent for the Archdiocese of New York and as an Associate Director for the University of Notre Dame’s Alliance for Catholic Education Program. He is a longtime advocate of school choice and has served as a Senior Fellow for Advocacy at the Mackinac Center for Public Policy and the California Public Policy Institute.

Throughout his career Steven has placed and formed hundreds of school leaders. He has provided leadership counsel for school administrators and board members on more than 6000 Catholic school campuses throughout the United States. To date, has raised more than a half a billion dollars in philanthropic support for Catholic education.  In 2018, the National Catholic Educational Association presented him with a Lifetime Achievement Award and referred to him as one of the most influential people in Catholic education in the last 25 years. 

Steve is a great storyteller and an extraordinary keynote speaker. Teachers, administrators and board members find him to be inspirational and motivational. His facilitation style is collaborative and as such he is often sought after to help craft strategic plans at the school and diocesan levels.
