Mike Loyet

Mike Loyet brings a comprehensive and unique skill set to Partners in Mission. Mike has served in Catholic education since 1981 as a classroom teacher, coach, administrator and school president. Mike is also an adjunct instructor at St. Louis University where he teaches a graduate course in Catholic school finance as well as financial accounting. 

Mike has a wide array and depth of experience in school leadership. His greatest strengths are developing a mission-driven culture, fundraising/advancement, enrollment management, strategic planning, and board formation. He is also well versed in budgeting, financial planning, conflict resolution and community relations. Mike’s combination of hands-on work within the school, as well as his administrative and leadership experience provide a valuable resource for Catholic schools seeking to thrive. His passion for education and love of students are evident in all he does. 

Mike’s formal education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Southeast Missouri State University, a Master’s degree in Finance from Webster University, and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from St. Louis University. In addition, Mike passed the CPA exam and has a lifetime teaching certification in Business Education. Twice during his teaching years, the University of Missouri-Columbia recognized Mike as “A Most Influential Teacher.”

Mike and his wife, Sheila, reside in St. Louis, Missouri. They have two adult sons, both married,  two grandsons and one granddaughter. Mike enjoys cycling, hiking, reading, and sports.
