Lincoln Snyder

Lincoln Snyder is an experienced leader and educator in Catholic schools. Lincoln was selected to lead the revitalization of the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) as President and CEO after the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on returning to fiscal stability and expanding member services and benefits. Prior to his appointment at NCEA, Lincoln served as the Superintendent and Executive Director of Schools for the Diocese of Sacramento from 2015 to 2021. As superintendent, he guided the transition of diocesan elementary schools to a unified governance model and stewarded schools through crises like the Camp Fire and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Before he was appointed Superintendent, he was a teacher and board chair at Christian Brothers High School in Sacramento. Lincoln has also served as vice chair of the NCEA NSBECS Advisory Council (NNAC) and has been a member of several Catholic school boards. In addition to his career in education, Lincoln worked in international business and commercial real estate, gaining valuable experience in business development, sales, and marketing. 

Lincoln holds a bachelor's degree in international politics from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and a master's degree in Lasallian Leadership from St. Mary's University of Minnesota. He is currently a doctoral fellow at Georgetown University's German department focusing on second language acquisition. Originally from California, Lincoln lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and their three teenage sons. When he is not working, Lincoln enjoys 20-mile walks and learning new languages.
