Kevin Dougherty

Kevin is the Executive Vice President at LaSalle College High School in Philadelphia. he is currently directing the largest capital campaign in the school's history. Kevin and the enrollment management team have completely redesigned the school's marketing approach to personalize the process based on student's interests. At the same time, they revised the school's admissions timeline to better position the school in the highly competitive secondary school market in the Philadelphia area. Kevin and his team created STEM Nights and Arts nights to attract public school families to La Salle while highlighting some of the school's areas of excellence.

Kevin led the campaign that resulted in the largest enrollment in school history three years in a row. During this time of much-needed social reflection, the admissions team has led a school-wide effort to increase diversity by bringing in the most racially diverse freshmen class in school history. He has been responsible for allocating over $5 million annually to need-based financial aid. Being one of three children of a Philadelphia homicide detective and Montessori school teacher, Kevin understands the importance of financial aid and the life-changing impact it can create.

Under Kevin's leadership, La Salle was the first school in the Philadelphia area to introduce a 6th-grade practice test in addition to their annual 7th-grade practice test. Most other private independent Catholic schools in the Philadelphia area now practice this model. He created a new merit-based scholarship program to strategically capitalize on top applicants. Under his leadership, the admissions office redesigned the scholarship dinner and shadow day approaches. La Salle is the largest all-boys private independent school in the Philadelphia area.

Kevin graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's School Leadership Program and earned his M.B.A. at Drexel University. Kevin has led La Salle in admissions during its' strongest decade of enrollment in school history. Kevin's first ever professional development in Admissions, ten years ago, was at the Partners in Mission Conference in Boston.

Kevin and his wife have two children and are parishioners at St. Alphonsus Church. Kevin has also coached Varsity Football at La Salle and is currently coaching Varsity Lacrosse.
