With over 20 years of Catholic school leadership experience, Chris Keavy brings a full range of operational and institutional knowledge to Partners in Mission. Throughout his career, he has served a broad range of Catholic school communities in Detroit, Michigan; Cleveland, Ohio; and southern New England.
Chris is the founding president of Cape Cod’s only Catholic middle-senior school, St. John Paul II School. Since its opening in 2007, when Chris was recruited from his position as principal at Padua Franciscan High School (Parma, Ohio), the school has grown to 500 students and holds a respected position in a competitive landscape. Under his sixteen-year leadership tenure, the school has developed vigorous curricular and co-curricular programs, established a strong advancement program, and instilled a robust Catholic identity and mission.
Currently, Chris directs the PACT Program at Providence College, a Catholic school teacher formation program that serves Catholic schools in five New England dioceses.
He is well-versed in school assessments, strategic planning, guiding schools to continual improvement, and is adept at addressing the challenges facing Catholic schools.
Chris holds a B.A. in philosophy and politics from Assumption College, an M.A. in philosophy from Boston College, and an M.A. in educational administration from Ursuline College. He and his wife, Debra, live in Cumberland, Rhode Island.
