Founded in 1904 by the Sisters of Notre Dame, Notre Dame Academy in Toledo, Ohio, is a premier Catholic, all-girls, college-preparatory school dedicated to forming young women who are intellectually curious, passionately faith-filled, socially responsible servant leaders.
Guided by the legacy and educational vision of the Sisters of Notre Dame, Notre Dame Academy nurtures spiritual growth, academic excellence, leadership, and a steadfast commitment to service. The President serves as the chief executive officer of Notre Dame Academy and is responsible for advancing the school’s mission, strategic vision and institutional sustainability. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the President provides inspirational and mission-centered leadership while working in close collaboration with the Principal, administrative team, faculty, staff and the Sisters of Notre Dame.
The next President will:
Be a practicing Catholic who embraces and lives the charism of the Sisters of Notre Dame.
Serve as the chief ambassador for Notre Dame Academy, strengthening relationships with students, alumnae, parents, faculty, staff and the broader Toledo community.
Lead with faith, vision and integrity, inspiring collaboration and a shared sense of mission.
Advance institutional growth through strategic planning, enrollment management, advancement and community engagement.
Champion academic excellence, faith formation and co-curricular innovation in partnership with the Principal and school leadership.
Steward the Academy’s financial health and long-term vitality in alignment with its mission and strategic goals.

The search committee is on a fast-track to identify and secure the next President.
