Lily McGibbon brings a thoughtful, mission-driven approach to the Partners in Mission team. As an assistant for the search team, she supports every part of the search and placement process and works alongside colleagues on business development and the implementation of business growth practices — work she sees as foundational, since nothing meaningful gets done without good leadership at the helm.
A graduate of the University of Notre Dame's Great Books-based Program of Liberal Studies, Lily brings a close reader's eye and a writer's discipline to her work on the search team. Years spent analyzing texts and crafting arguments translate directly into her approach to proposals and presentations, where clarity, precision, and a strong sense of narrative matter just as much as they did in her coursework. During her time at Notre Dame she also spent two summers interning with Partners in Mission in Nashville, building presentations for the search team and managing CRM systems — experience that gave her an early appreciation for the detail-oriented, relationship-driven nature of the firm's work.
Lily currently lives in Sterling, VA with her grandparents while pursuing a Master's in the Science of Counseling at Divine Mercy University, bringing that same people-first instinct to her role on the search team. When she's not preparing proposals, she can usually be found cooking, singing, or curled up with a good novel or the spiritual writings of one of the many inspirational saints.
