Brian Hiles

Brian Hiles

Brian Hiles has been the Director of Admissions at Elder High School for the past six years, where he has excelled at connecting with and enrolling new families. During Brian's time at Elder, he has overseen a complete overhaul of the school's shadow day and open house formats, resulting in a 50% increase in grade school student attendance. Brian also created and marketed various new grade school student events to increase exposure to Elder's campus and culture. These initiatives have seen the school's total enrollment grow by 17% in the past four years.

From 2022-2023, Brian developed and spearheaded a yard sign marketing campaign designed to display the fervent passion of the school's alumni for the entire community. By the time the campaign concluded, 5,000 yard signs had been distributed and displayed for over a year in yards across the city. The campaign was a tremendous success for Elder's brand equity and recognition and went on to be recognized by the Public Relations Society of America with an Award of Excellence.

For sixteen years Brian has been a successful and passionate contributor to nonprofits in Cincinnati through fundraising, marketing, and recruiting efforts. Brian started his career with the Dan Beard Council Boy Scouts of America, where he acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience in advancement practices and youth recruitment. Brian would eventually bring his skills to Cincinnati Museum Center, as well as Hearing Speech and Deaf Center of Greater Cincinnati, most recently serving as the Director of Development and Marketing.

In addition to his professional contributions, Brian has made a significant impact on the community through his extensive track record of volunteerism for several nonprofits. His passion for being involved and helping others led to him being recognized in 2018 as the ServeOhio Southwest Ohio Volunteer of the Year, and as a 2022 Cincinnati Business Courier Forty Under 40 winner.

Brian graduated from Miami University with degrees in History and Environmental Science. He is currently pursuing an MBA at Xavier University. Brian resides in Cincinnati, OH, where he is a parishioner of Our Lady of the Visitation Church. He has two children who attend OLV, and in his free time enjoys coaching his son's football team, kayaking, volunteering, and traveling.
