Archbishop Alter High School in Dayton, Ohio, is seeking a dynamic, faith-filled, and visionary Principal to begin service in the summer of 2026. Founded in 1962 and located in Kettering, Archbishop Alter is a coeducational Catholic college preparatory school in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati committed to challenging students to reach their full potential through academic excellence in a Christ-centered environment.

The Principal of Archbishop Alter High School serves as the academic, spiritual, and operational leader of the school and is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of its mission. The Principal guides the community in fostering an environment marked by academic excellence, Catholic values, and strong student formation while engaging students, faculty, staff, and families in a collaborative and vibrant Catholic high school experience.
As instructional leader, the Principal oversees curriculum and academic programs, supports faculty development, supervises daily operations, and represents the school in diocesan and community settings. The Principal also serves as a visible spiritual leader, promoting faith formation through prayer, liturgy, retreats, service initiatives, and a culture grounded in Gospel values.
