A distinguished co-educational private Catholic college preparatory institution, St. Louis Catholic High School is located in mid-city Lake Charles, LA, one of the fastest growing regions in the nation due to its robust oil and gas industry expansion. The only Catholic high school within a 45-mile radius, St. Louis Catholic is also the only Catholic high school in the Diocese of Lake Charles, comprised of five civil parishes in Southwest Louisiana. Formed in 1970 from its legacy institutions, St. Charles Academy, Sacred Heart High School, and Landry Memorial, St. Louis Catholic High School continues a long and rich tradition of providing its constituents with a transformative Catholic education.

St. Louis Catholic has a current population of close to 600 diverse students in grades 9-12 and is served by a faculty and staff of over 60 mission-driven professionals. The school community strives to create an atmosphere in which the students value God and develop their own giftedness in order to take their respective places in the global community as responsible Catholic Christians.

The ideal candidates will have a passion for Catholic education, possess an extensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities within Catholic education, and be comfortable working with a visionary Rector, while collaborating with a committed and engaged Advisory Board and Board of Pastor’s. He or She will be experienced with strategic planning and have current executive level experience in a Catholic college preparatory setting. Additionally, the successful candidate will have expertise in areas of academic administration, operational and fiscal management, public and community relations, and overall school advancement.
