Epiphany Cathedral Catholic School (ECCS), located in Southern Florida’s Gulf Coast community of Venice, is seeking a principal for its PreK-through-8th grade school community of 165 students. Established in 1959, EPC is fully accredited through the Florida Catholic Conference (FCC) and is nationally certified through the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPA). This award-winning school is a Blue-Ribbon Lighthouse School of Excellence and has been voted "Best Private School in Venice" year after year. The next principal will further develop valuable relationships within the community that supports the school’s advancement initiatives. We are seeking a high-energy principal who will provide strategic and operational leadership by establishing a multi-year strategic plan, leveraging existing marketing and recruitment efforts to drive enrollment, improving communications throughout the community, and leading new initiatives as needed.

Interested candidates must be spiritually motivated practicing Roman Catholics committed to Catholic education, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be current with best practices and educational methods. An advanced degree in Educational Leadership or related field is required. Candidates are expected to hold, or be qualified to hold, Professional Certification in Educational Leadership or a related certification in the State of Florida, and have a minimum of five years’ experience in an elementary school setting.

The position will remain open until filled. Candidates interviews with the search committee will be scheduled on a rolling-basis until we secure the ideal person to lead this school into its future. The school’s desired start date is July 1, 2017 or shortly thereafter.
