Head of School
St. Anthony Schools
Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii

For more than 168 years, St. Anthony Schools have served the people of Maui County and Hawaii under the guidance of members of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, Society of Mary ("Marianists"), Maryknoll Sisters, and the St. Joseph Sisters of Carondelet orders. St. Anthony Schools include Pre-K through 12th, and have earned a prestigious reputation for maintaining high academic standards and being of great service to a diverse population. During its sesquicentennial history, more than 15,000 students have graduated from this school, with many furthering their academic pursuits by earning degrees from institutions of higher learning and establishing themselves in a variety of professional careers internationally.

Additionally, a significant number of SAS graduates have "come home" to Maui and are respected community leaders and contributors. The people of Maui recognize the positive contributions its students have made to improve the professional, economic, cultural and moral fabric of this island society. The spirit of community service encouraged at St. Anthony School has also generated the devotion of invaluable time to countless community projects and volunteer work by our students and graduates.

St. Anthony School is a Catholic faith community rooted in the Marianist spirit. It is dedicated to integrating the message of Jesus Christ's love and providing a progressive, quality education for students developing 21st century career competencies. The school believes that each student has the ability and right to learn. They respect and nurture each student as a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating environment in which to grow and mature spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially, physically, and culturally, where human dignity is respected. It’s teaching and learning approach focuses on Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Creativity and Catholic Identity.

The next Head of School will be expected to bring the energy, charisma and executive administration and advancement skills necessary for this school community to build on its extensive Marianist traditions and storied legacy, while delivering excellence in a Christ-centered and faith-filled college preparatory education. Candidates are expected to be available to assume the responsibilities of the position by July 1, 2017. Applications will be accepted until March 5, 2017.
