With this best practice, Partners in Mission shows you how to take the basic Activities and Project Management process and apply it effectively to smaller opportunities in a less formal setting.  Leaders that encourage individuals and small project teams throughout the school community to apply and master these simple processes over time experience significant improvements.  Sharing and encouraging this basic process seems to ignite people’s passion to fix things, make things better, and improve things.  Encouraging people to use these fundamental practices at several levels (major activities / projects all the way down to one-person activities taking a few minutes) reinforces the realization that becoming an excellent school community is more a matter of doing many little things well – and progressively improving them – than it is doing the big things in spectacular fashion.
