Tom Brodnickiserves as a Senior Partner of the Partners in Missionteam since its founding in 2008. After nine years studying for priesthood with the Augustinians, Tom began a 47-year career in service to Catholic education among Catholic elementary and secondary schools as well as serving as the Vice President of Advancement at Lewis University and the University of St. Francis in suburban Chicago.
Reversing serious enrollment declines while creating a highly regarded advancement program at Chicago’s St. Rita High School in the1970s led to Tom leading dozens of Catholic schools in their early advancement efforts. Tom is recognized as the “Grandfather” of Catholic School Advancement in Chicago where he is credited as a founder of the Archdiocesan Development Council.
Relocating to Boston in 2002 to serve as VP for Advancement at Curry College, Tom met Larry Furey and accepted an invitation to help establish and team with Partners in Mission. Personally serving as ongoing advancement and campaign counsel while supporting the team in crafting recommendations and reports for some one hundred projects across the country marks Tom’s gift to Catholic education.
Tom and his wife, Nancy, a programs and IT administrator for the Yawkey Foundation, live in Canton, MA.
