Tom DeAngelis brings nearly 30 years of executive management and consulting experience to his work with Partners in Mission.
Tom began his career as a Catholic high school religion teacher and football coach at Trinity High School in Camp Hill, PA and at his alma mater, Lebanon Catholic High School, in Lebanon, PA.
He has served as the chair of both the Parish Council and the Parish School Board at St. Joan of Arc Parish in Hershey, PA.
Tom has served for six years as Chairman of the Board of Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg, PA, which recently announced plans to build a new $60,000,000 school.
Tom began his business career in training and development for GPU Nuclear at Three Mile Island following the infamous accident there. He has held management and executive positions with The Hershey Company and with PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting (now IBM Consulting) in finance, strategic planning and acquisitions, plant management, human resources, executive project management for major IT systems implementations totaling several hundreds of millions of dollars, process reengineering, and workforce management.
Tom is a graduate of St Joan of Arc Elementary School in Hershey, PA and Lebanon Catholic High School in Lebanon, PA.
He is a magna cum laude graduate of Bucknell University where he earned a BA in religion and philosophy and was also elected to the Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Eta Sigma national honor societies. He earned an MBA in finance magna cum laude from the Pennsylvania State University, and is a graduate of the executive development programs at Cornell University and the University of Michigan, as well as The Center for Creative Leadership, Outward Bound, and PricewaterhouseCoopers Global Workforce Consulting Certification Program.
Tom has also served as chair of the Board of Real Alternatives, a unique state funded pro-life organization providing funding to agencies counseling alternatives to abortion for women in crisis pregnancies, in addition to serving on several other non-profit, educational and social service boards.
He is also active in his parish, serves as a RCIA instructor, a marriage mentor with his wife, Maryann, and has served as a Eucharistic Minister for over 35 years.
Tom and Maryann reside in Hershey, PA. His children are all graduates of St. Joan of Arc Elementary School and Bishop McDevitt High School.
