Dennis Buckley gladly shares his 25+ years experience in Fundraising and Marketing with Partners in Mission. He continues to serve his alma mater as Vice President of Advancement at Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, NY.
Prior to entering the advancement profession, Dennis held several Sales and Marketing positions at various corporations including Bloomberg LP, Xerox Corporation and The Bank of New York.
In 1994, Dennis returned to his alma mater to help enhance Stepinac’s new advancement office as Director of Advancement. After bringing in a new database system, creating Stepinac’s Foundation and coordinating the school’s first ever Capital Campaign, he moved to his other alma mater, Manhattan College, where he managed the college’s Annual Fund Program and later served as Director of Major Gifts for the college’s $150 million Capital Campaign.
Dennis has served as Track Chair for CASE conferences, a Board Member of his regional AFP Chapter and Board Member of St. Clement’s School. After speaking at conferences in both the United States and Canada, Dennis realized the importance of the CFRE designation to the fund raising industry. In 2005, Dennis received his initial Certified Fund Raising Executive designation. Every three years, he is proud to recommit to this designation as it not only shows his knowledge and experience, but also is a measure of an individual’s current practice, because they are required to participate in continuing education, volunteerism within the industry as well as being an actively practicing fundraiser.
As beneficiary of 16 years of Catholic school, as well as working in Catholic school environments in a variety of capacities for over 15 years, Dennis has recently spent the last few years in study and prayer to become a Secular Franciscan.
Of all Dennis’ accomplishments, he is most proud of his family. His wife of over 26 years, Carol is a property manager, his daughter Meghan, is a recent graduate of Siena College and his son Patrick, is currently attending Siena College.
